Photos by Jake

Jacob really enjoys taking photos with my camera.  Sometimes I download photos and find surprise pictures.  Here are some photos I found this time:

Superbowl Sunday- Dress-up and Setting the Table

We had friends over to watch the Superbowl this year and while the adults watched the game and enjoyed good food, the kids played dress up.

Jake also worked very hard to set the dining room table for the party.  He used Looney Toon party plates and napkins.  He was very proud of his work!

Boring Snow Days

We have only been in the house for about 48 hours and the kids are a little bored.  Jake keeps saying there is nothing to do......

I think snow days are harder on parents trying to entertain their children than they are the children being bored. Here are some photos of the Boring Snow Days!

Playing in the Snow

We ventured out today to let the kids play in the snow.  We might have stayed outside for 10 minutes and it was so cold the kids were ready to come inside.  Ella kept saying it "no'ed," but once we got outside she was not impressed.  She is a girly-girl and was ready to get back inside.  Jake however, had a lot of fun. He had snowball fights and made snow angels.  Below are photos from our snow day:

Smores in the Fireplace-Snow Storm 2011

Oklahoma had it's yearly snow storm on February 1, 2011.  We received 12 inches of snow with some snow drifts reaching at least 3 to 4 feet.  We spent some quality family time at home for two days.  On Tuesday night, Mike and I tried several different recipes with some of the deer meat from the deer he got in November.  Also, Josh, our neighbor, stayed the night with Jake and we made smores in our fireplace.  Here are some photos from the smore making:
