Our Christmas Eve tradition is to have a big dinner and open presents at my parents' house. The kids get to open their presents from us and my parents and sister. Santa doesn't come until the next morning and he leaves the big presents and fills their stockings. Of course, we leave cookies and milk for Santa, but this year we had to leave kool-aid as we were out of milk. The cookies we left had been made a week prior by the kids. I wish Iwould have taken photos becasue it was awesome. I would put the icing on the cookies and they would add the sprinkles. If I didn't watch close, they would have an entire mound of sprinkles on the cookies.
On Christmas Eve Day we went to lunch at Nanny Mattie's house, Jake and Ella were able to open their presents from Nanny Mattie at that time. Ella recieved a bathtime baby and Jake got a Nerf gun. Jake told Nanny Mattie that it was the best gun he had ever gotten.
